What kind of jobs can a perosn on H4 Visa do legally and get paid?

None.Straight and Simple Answer.
Working on H4 Visa is illegal, you cannot do any job legally.
We have heard that a lot of H4 visa holders work,there are four conditions
-They are working illegally
-They receive salary in cash
-Salary in cash,so no tax on it
-If caught they can be sent back/deported to their home country
Read all this online, never worked in this way so don't know exactly and none of my friends work here.
But all of it make sense, if its illegal,you will naturally be deported to home country due to violation of law.
If you are ready for it, go and search an employer who is ready to keep illegal worker.
There must be few such employers as we read that many illegal citizens in US work, so if they are illegal employees, some employer is giving them job.

Well said, If there are illegal workers,there must be illegal employers too.
I have also read online that H4 visa holders earn and get paid cash.
